Bookish?

Well, definitely bookish, but also to be many other things I hope!  Certainly I do read a lot, but I also sew, knit, crochet, work, try to catch up with friends, scratch the bird's neck and vacuum rabbit fur off the rug.

Life seems to be flowing along very quickly.  My older daughter, Miss J, is now fourteen, and it has been six years since we lost our darling little Miss E because of cancer.  My husband, Mr B, has been my partner in marriage for over eighteen years, and we have had intense joys, terrible grief, and waters calm and stormy aplenty.  I guess transience has started to bother me a little.  Not a lot, but enough to make me want to somehow make my minor mark, and to document some of what goes on in my mind and life.
